Not at all. Although we do make a conscious effort to try and get as much exposure as possible for artists from the Caribbean, at the end of the day, it's all about the music. We do tend to give more attention to music with a conscious message though.
It depends on which country you live in. As we are based in the UK, deliveries to the UK and Europe are normally quicker and of course to the Africa, US, South America, Australia. etc, it may take a little longer. In general though, you should expect to receive your merchandise within 2 weeks.
It's difficult to say as the schedule varies over time but we do aim to release at least 2 albums per year. This will increase as we grow though.
Riddim is basically the term used to describe an instrumental song in the Caribbean. It generally refers to Reggae and Dancehall music. It is common that you will find several artists recording different songs over the same 'riddim', each bring their own unique style to the table.
Well this all depends on your taste in music. In terms of where the most music comes from, that would probably be Jamaica, Trinidad and Barbados. This is obviously in correlation with their population, but in terms of quality, you can find great music from all of the islands. The best example of this is Arrow. One of the greatest and most popular Soca artists of all time who is from one of the smallest Caribbean islands, Montserrat.
